“We instructed Matt after reading the positive reviews about him, recommendations on a local neighbourhood group and also having seen the work he had previously done. We initially only wanted to have some mahogany bedroom furniture converted into office furniture along with a top to bottom refurbishment of our study, to include ripping out the dated fitted furniture and carpet. Matt converted a large wardrobe into a bookcase and a chest of drawers into a filing cabinet and laid new wooden flooring. We were blown away by the end result and were very impressed with the converted furniture and the overall way the study looked afterwards.

We were so impressed with Matt’s work in our study that we instructed him to do a similar job upstairs to our master bedroom, again, ripping out the dated fitted furniture and floor and replacing it with wooden floors and building a new fitted wardrobe unit with shaker style sliding doors. At the same time we asked Matt to replace some fitted wardrobe doors in another bedroom again in a classic shaker design and to lay wooden floors in 2 of the bedrooms. 

Matt is a highly skilled professional and his work is of the highest quality. He is thorough and his attention to detail is second to none. He is punctual and leaves his work area clean and tidy after every day and even went out of his way to help me with some odd jobs that I needed his guidance on! In terms of the wardrobes he built, he was able to show us various design ideas, from the way the fitted wardrobe doors can look and maximising the internal storage to the various options for opening mechanisms. Matt is a genuinely lovely guy to have working around the house. I would have no hesitation in using Matt again and cannot recommend him highly enough.”
